Building Materials

We conduct scientific research in the area of building products, analyzing their compliance with existing national and European standards and regulations. We assess and certify them for factory production control. We provide expertise and opinions on raw materials and building products and their applications.

Conduct research in new technologies for manufacturing building materials and using waste in building materials and products production.

  • Develop technologies, select machinery, and provide design guidelines for processing rock raw materials for planned aggregate production assortment.
  • Modernize technological processes in processing plants, particularly to improve product quality and achieve waste-free aggregate production.
  • Research aggregate used in production: concrete, bituminous mixtures, hydraulically bound or unbound mixtures, mortar, bedding.
  • Research hydrotechnical stone.
  • Research building stone: blocks, raw plates, modular cladding, flooring, staircases.
  • Research stone and concrete products: curbs, paving stones, road surface plates.
  • Research certain properties of concrete products.
  • Research building materials according to PN standards and non-standard
    • assessments of properties and applications of aggregates, building stones, concrete, and other building products.
  • Expertise and opinions on raw materials and building products and their applications.
  • Advice and expertise on the study of aggregates, building raw materials, and mining waste in the accredited Raw Materials and Building Products Laboratory.

Research is conducted in the Laboratory, which is accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation - certificate no. AB 1344 in the scope of:
