About the Centre

Our Galvanotechnics Technology Center conducts scientific, research, technological, and educational activities in the field of electrochemical and chemical surface treatment.
We specialize in
in processing metallic, alloy, metal-matrix composite and oxide coatings. We also conduct research on new recovery technologies and waste recycling.

Our Center undertakes scientific research, development, training, and standardization activities in the following areas:

Our Center conducts research on the production of metal, alloy, composite, and conversion coatings, as well as on the electrochemical and chemical refinement of product surfaces. Our activities also support the advancement of galvanotechnology as one of the most widely used techniques for metal surface protection against corrosion. We are committed to improving the durability, functional properties, and aesthetics of products, as well as to modernizing electroplating plants for safe operation.

As part of our sustainable development efforts, our Center disseminates knowledge enabling industrial facilities that employ metal and plastic surface treatment to use techniques and technologies with minimal environmental impact.

Our Center also carries out research and development work on the application of new recovery and recycling technologies as part of the transition to a circular economy.

Functional Coatings

Galvanotechnics Technology Center

The Center’s research focuses on producing metallic, alloy, composite, and conversion coatings, along with electrochemical and chemical surface treatment of products. We engage in initiatives to advance electroplating, one of the most widely used techniques for protecting metal surfaces against corrosion, enhancing durability, improving the functional properties of products, and increasing their aesthetic value. The Center’s work supports the domestic industry in modernizing plating facilities and ensuring their safe operation.

As part of our commitment to environmental protection, the Center disseminates knowledge that enables industrial facilities engaged in surface treatment of metals and plastics to employ techniques and technologies that minimize environmental impact. Our research and development activities also focus on applying new waste recovery and recycling technologies, supporting a faster transition to a closed-loop material economy.
