After several days of intensive works carried out by the team of the Centre for New Technologies in Construction, a demonstration space of the Herit4ages pilot project was created.
The project, coordinated by the Tyndall National Institute with the support of the Institute of Baltic Studies, was implemented in a historic 18th-century building in Tartu, Estonia.
The scope of activity included using innovative, fully natural and sustainable insulation boards, that were developed by experts from Łukasiewicz – WIT: Centre Manager Dr Artur Miros, Marek Zawalski, Arkadiusz Nawrot, Adam Sklebis and Mateusz Komonia. The solutions significantly improved the insulation parameters of the building, while preserving its historical character and compliance with the principles of sustainable development.
We are returning with new ideas, ready to comprehensively implement further projects – from concept, through research, to implementation – as well as valuable experience gained from international cooperation.
