The future we are creating together is based on innovations as well as a consistent economic and technological development. Its the most important element remains people, their knowledge and energy.
On 10 December, Łukasiewicz – Warsaw Institute of Technology hosted representatives of the Łukasiewicz Research Network Management Board: President dr Hubert Cichocki, PhD and Vice-President prof. Jolanta Itrich-Drabarek, PhD who visited the Institute.
The meeting provided an opportunity to summarise the most important activities of recent years and to define the directions that will be key to further development. The participants discussed common goals and challenges facing the entire Network emphasising the importance of cooperation in creating a strong research and technological base.
The President of the Network thanked the Institute’s management for their effective efforts in improving management processes, developing relationships with industrial partners, and implementing R&D projects that strengthen the competitiveness of the national economy. He also pointed out the importance of focusing research efforts on projects with high implementation potential and a need to combine competences of diverse teams in the effective creation of technologies supporting the development of enterprises.
The Vice-President emphasised that the strength of the Institute lies not only in its experts and their competences, but also in cooperation and mutual kindness, which create an environment conducive to the generation of valuable research results.
The Director of the Institute, Warsaw University prof. Grzegorz Gudzbeler, PhD drew attention to the role of Łukasiewicz – WIT as an organisation responding to the challenges of both industry and society, especially in the current geopolitical situation.
The visit also included a substantive discussion and exchange of views with representatives of our research teams.
Together, we pursue a goal to provide Polish companies with technologies and solutions that enable them to grow. Therefore the effectiveness of these activities is based on cooperation and mutual support – values that build our organisation every day.
