The development of a modern economy requires well-prepared specialists – people who can translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions. Practical education is the key to build a strong, innovative workforce ready to meet the challenges of the market.
The possibilities for creating joint solutions in this area were discussed by the Director of the Institute, prof. Jolanta Itrich-Drabarek, and the President of the Management Board of the ORLEN Group Education Centre, dr Arkadiusz Lewandowski.

Centrum Edukacji Sp. z o. o., established on the initiative of ORLEN S.A. in cooperation with the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development (GFKM), has been conducting training courses, workshops and seminars to develop the professional competences of ORLEN employees and companies of the Capital Group for 26 years.

The cooperation between two experienced training centres opens up new perspectives for the development of technical education in Poland. The combination of practical educational experience with the research and technical experience of our Institute, which has been specialising in training in areas such as surface engineering and concessions for many years, will allow us to develop a training programme that meets the real needs of industry.
We believe that technical and scientific competences are the foundation of an innovative economy.

That is why we want to work together to build an education system that will prepare the specialists of the future – people who think in an interdisciplinary manner, act courageously and are ready to cooperate across sectors.
Because the future belongs to those who combine knowledge with practice.
