Visit of representatives of the Warsaw University of Technology at the Łukasiewicz-WIT head office

WHEN?

WHERE?

Cooperation between science, business and industry is a goal that guides all of our Institute’s activities.

However, science must be strong to be able to effectively fulfil its mission, providing solutions that strengthen its potential to the Polish economy. And the integration of academic centres around this goal is one of the factors that can facilitate its realisation.

Specific solutions in this area were discussed at yesterday’s meeting of the Łukasiewicz – Warsaw Institute of Technology Director Prof. Jolanta Itrich-Drabarek with representatives of the Warsaw University of Technology – Chairman of our Institute Council, WUT Prof. DSc Eng. Rafał Świercz, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Tomasz Chmielewski, D.Sc.Eng, and Director of the Institute of Mechanics and Printing, Prof. Cezary Senderowski, D.Sc.Eng

Our guests also visited, among others, the Centre for Metal and Alloy Processing and Protective Coatings, the Laboratory of Mechanical Properties of Materials and the Centre for Electroplating Technology
and talked to their representatives about research plans and solutions dedicated to businesses.
