Machines and Structures Laboratory
Research on protective structures
The laboratory performs tests:
- operator protection structures in earthmoving machines, mining machines and others,
- the research station allows for testing of entire cabins along with parts of the machine’s supporting structure,
- size limitation: 5m x 5m x 4m,
- range of applied forces: up to 2 MN (~204 tons of force)
- possibility of loading the structure in 2 planes,
Tests according to standards:
- PN-EN ISO 3471
- PN-EN ISO 3449
- PN-G 5900
The laboratory also performs strength tests of other large-size objects.
Machines and Structures Laboratory
Vibration and noise testing
- field tests of noise emissions into the environment and determination of the acoustic power of self-propelled and stationary machines
- measurements of overall vibrations on the seat or under the feet
- local vibration measurements on steering wheels and manipulators
- vibration measurements in the range from 0.035 to 3555 m/s2, with 131 kHz sampling, a mobile system enabling measurements in a real environment
- noise level tests at the workplace, in the operator’s cabin
- noise tests at other workplaces
Tests according to standards:
- PN-EN ISO 3744
- ISO 6395
- PN-EN ISO 11201
- ISO 6396
- PN-EN 1032 + A1
