It is based on knowledge, clearly defined standards and the shared responsibility of the entire industry for working conditions and the quality of completed projects. \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Warsaw Institute of Technology has been involved in activities promoting safe work on construction sites for many years. <\/p><p data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"966\">On 12 February 2026, a General Meeting of Signatories to the Agreement for Safety in Construction was held \u2013 an event setting out the directions for action to improve work safety standards in the construction industry.  <\/p><p data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1279\">During the meeting, the Director of the Institute, dr Grzegorz Gudzbeler, drew particular attention to the role of machine and equipment operators&#8217; competences in creating a safe working environment.
