Durability, reliability and the ability to produce on a large scale are absolute necessities in the automotive industry. Fortunately, modern materials engineering has a number of solutions that respond to these challenges. <\/p>

Representatives of the Centre for Metal and Alloy Processing and Protective Coatings \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Warsaw Institute of Technology discussed these possibilities in the context of surface engineering and powder metallurgy with representatives of Polmo \u0141omianki S.A. \u2013 Vice-President Izabela Kulszewicz, Head of the Sintered Powder Technology Development Department Jakub Witczak, and Head of the Marketing and Sales Department Anna Olesi\u0144ska.<\/p>

The meeting was attended by: Director of the Institute prof. Grzegorz Gudzbeler, PhD, Deputy Director for Research prof. Dominik Kukla, DSc, and the research team: the Center Manager Sylwester Jo\u0144czyk, Tomasz Rygier, Pawe\u0142 Szewczyk, and Adam Kondej.<\/p>

This time, we had the opportunity to present the achievements and capabilities of our Institute. We talked about projects implemented at the Center for Metal and Alloy Processing and Protective Coatings, financed by the National Reconstruction Plan, including the production, characterization, and quality control of surface layers for the aviation, chemical, and energy industries, as well as a research and implementation facility unique in Europe, which allows for the development of energy-efficient cermet sintering technologies for the production of tools. chemical, and energy industries, as well as a research and implementation station, unique on a European scale, which allows for the development of energy-efficient cermet sintering technologies for the production of tools and machine parts. <\/p>
