On 28 October, we met at an event organised by the Low-Carbon Technologies and Clean Energy Industry Contact Point team, including Katarzyna Nowak, Agnieszka Bartnicka, Magdalena Kula and \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Warsaw Institute of Technology, to build a greener, smarter and more responsible future together.<\/p>

The participants were welcomed by Prof. Jolanta Itrich-Drabarek, Director of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 WIT, and Mariusz Wasilewski, Director General of the Polish Construction Cluster, who emphasised the importance of cooperation between science and business in creating innovations for the environment and society.<\/p>

We began the discussion on creating new standards in construction with presentations by dr Artur Miros and Jacek Szyma\u0144ski, who demonstrated that innovative materials can combine the idea of sustainable development with safety.<\/p>

We also had a frank discussion about the future of sustainable technologies for the construction industry during a panel moderated by Pawe\u0142 Wo\u0142ejsza, with the participation of Aleksandra Uhlarz from Saint-Gobain, Lucyna Magda from Quinn Ross, Agnieszka Sznyk from INNOWO and Piotr Grochowski from ARCHE.<\/p>

Thanks to the matchmaking session, we moved from building a vision of sustainable construction to building relationships that give innovative ideas a chance to take shape. Fourteen Polish and foreign entities presented themselves in the pitching session, presenting their offers as part of current competitions in the field of sustainable construction.<\/p>

During the afternoon presentations, Anastasiya Yurchyshyna (ECTP), BPK TNiCE Coordinator Katarzyna Nowak and Katarzyna Wo\u017aniak from the \u0141ukasiewicz Centre talked about the opportunities for implementing innovative research and development projects thanks to the Horizon Europe and New European Bauhaus programmes.
The Herit4Ages project presented by Arkadiusz Nawrot and the REN+HOMES project presented by Kathleen Blanco showed how European green innovations are changing the face of cities, contributing to the creation of new investments in line with the spirit of sustainable development, but also to the preservation and protection of their cultural heritage.
Finally, there was an exchange of experiences in the field of project creation in the Horizon Europe programme, moderated by Katarzyna Kulikowska from Funding Box, with the participation of Prof. El\u017cbieta Ry\u0144ska and Anna Tofiluk from the Warsaw University of Technology, Magdalena Jaskiewicz from CTT INNOVATIONS, Kathleen Blanco, Anastasiya Yurchyshyna and Arkadiusz Nawrot \u2013 an invaluable source of practical advice and specific tips on how to prepare project applications to ensure a successful funding application process.
The evening cocktail party was a natural conclusion to the day, bringing together conversations about projects, visions of the future and new relationships into a coherent whole.<\/p>


INSE 2025 confirmed once again that sustainable construction is not just a trend, but a real path to a future where technology, innovation and social responsibility go hand in hand.<\/p>
