Protective Coatings at \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 WIT, continues some of its activities and integrates them into our new vision.<br \/>As a result, we are currently identifying new areas of research and laying the groundwork for future advancements.  <\/p>\n<p>As a part of the Warsaw Institute of Technology (\u0141-WIT), we focus on applied research to provide solutions to industry and business. However, demonstrating research excellence within the academic community is also an important part of our mission. Therefore, we are also dedicated to discovery-oriented research that advances the frontiers of scientific knowledge.   <\/p>\n<p>Our primary objective is to foster collaborations with research institutions and business entities worldwide, contributing to economic success and enabling the development of key emerging industries. We aim to provide innovations that can be either directly commercialized to support the current enterprises\u2019 activities or patented solutions to contribute to the technological impact and the materials, such as alloys and composites, under the influence of environmental, chemical, physical, and mechanical factors.<br><br><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-primary );text-align: dzia\u0142alno\u015b\u0107 wpisuje si\u0119 w globaln\u0105 strategi\u0119 bardziej efektywnego wykorzystania zasob\u00f3w oraz neutralnej klimatycznie gospodarki. <\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:0cm\">We aim to contribute to Poland's capacity to produce patents for sustainable materials and processes, as well as to increase the export of clean technologies to other EU states. <\/p><br><p style=\"margin-bottom:0cm\"><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-primary );text-align: var(--bs-body-text-align)\">Our research focuses on <\/span><span style=\"color: var( electrochemical methods for surface modification to enhance material functionality, including techniques like the sol-gel approach combined with spin-coating or dip-coating, and advanced anodizing
